too many restrictions

OK so I've barely been here for a month and I'm already ready to leave.

First of all, there are too many rules. Sure you can have parties, but be sure you let them know! That way they know who to blame if they see a mess. Also, I hate it that they don't allow pets. Other apartments allow it, so it can't be that bad. They wouldn't even let me keep my MICE here! MICE!! They are barely bigger than a golfball and don't shed. "But your roommate could be allergic to them." WHAT'!'!

Second, I have to agree with everyone else on the ant thing. It is really driving me crazy. I don't even keep food in the bottom shelf of my cabinets because the ants get in there. And I even see them all over my bathroom floor! And on my computer desk...today I took everyone thing off the desk and sprayed the whole thing with Raid. Then I used Windex to clean it off...and still I'm see little ants crawling around.

Something else that bothered/bothers me is how misleading the people are at first. They told me they WERE getting a tanning bed. Then the other day I went to ask how to use the tanning bed and the guy says, "Oh, we don't have one. We were considering it, but we didn't end up getting it." OOOOK Whatever, I was just going to use it because it was free.

Oh yeah! They keep mispelling my name! Did I not WRITE out my name about a billion times on all the paperwork. And they hand-write the names on the envelopes. How sad is it when I get a letter that has my first name spelled wrong and my last right, then I open it up and my last name is spelled wrong AND my first name is spelled a completely different wrong way'!'! Then everything from then on has both of my names spelled incorrectly. Are they not LOOKING at my name as the WRITE it'' And the little card in my mailbox had just my last name on it, then when they put a new one that had mine and my roommates' names on it, my last name was spelled wrong!! How can they do that' Oh AND (this is great), my friend's last name begins with "V" and the little paper in his mailbox had it starting with a "J!" How do you mistake a "V" for a "J'!'!"

Did I mention the ants'

Yeah, and the rental price is way high. I don't even know what possessed me to live here. Oh, I bet it was the misleading management. FYI, my roommate has never showed up...I better not get charged the whole utility bill because I was on the utility package. I have no control over whether or not my roommate shows up.

Oh yeah! Is my ceiling about a half an inch thick' I swear everynight it sounds like people are going to fall through my ceiling. And parties at night...I can't sleep because I can hear the music outside.

Overall, I would definitely not recommend, but rather discourage people from living here.
