I spent three months at the Commons this summer and I must say the experience was definitely forgettable. Let me explain why.



1) They rented me a unit knowing it had flood damage that had not been repaired. There was mold along almost every baseboard in the unit. I was told it would be fixed. It never was even after numerous complaints.



2) The management lied about parking policy to me. I am engaged and my fiance lives in another city. She drives down to visit every couple of weeks. Management said she could get a temporary parking pass when I was signing my lease. When I tried to get one I was told no.



3) My bed was broken and never fixed after numerous requests.



4) When I moved out, my security deposit was messed up. I spoke with the management who assured me everything would be fixed. That was in August, it is now November. The old management has since transferred and now I have to start over again with the new management. I don?t even live there anymore and I am still having to deal with this place!

5) Noise is a big problem. Having 6 A/C compressors right outside the window with paper thin walls gets real loud at night.

6) Utility prices are outrageous there. I suspect it has to do with the thin walls lacking insulation. I don't know about anyone else but I find it ridiculous to be spending 100 dollars a month for electricity when the A/C is set at 80.



As stated above, there is new management in place. Hopefully they will pick this place up because I know I will never live in a place like that again.
