In College Station, there are so many other places to live. I lived in a third floor apt and the utilities were outrageous! Usually it is a pretty young crowd that lives there because of the individual lease/ furnished apts deal, so be ready to deal with freshman/sophomore idiots who think it is time to act like jackasses just because they don't live with Mommy anymore. I had a neighbor who smoked pot all the time and the smoke would come through the vent into my apts. After MANY complaints to him and the management, I finally called the police and they got arrested. But, did the mgmt kick them out' NO! The guys of course were mad so they pointed their stereo at our wall and would play it as loud as they could. Evicted' NO! Finally after a peeing incident and the managment inspected their apt and found giant speakers pointed toward our wall were they convinced of a security threat and evicted the guys.

Other than security issues, the buildings are sinking. There are huge cracks in the walls and the foundation is falling apart. They have this big giant pool, but it is more like the show-how-big-a-dumbass-I-am area.

Summary: Not safe, residents tend to be pretty immature and annoying, and the buildings are crap. Definitely easier to find much better places in town.
