I lived in the Univ Commons for a year, and was satisfied with it, but wouldn't really recommend it to others. The apartments appear nice, but are really cheaply put together and the new management ACT really nice and friendly, like they want to take care of you and all that, but when you have a complaint or a disagreement, they are not helpful. We had problems with ANTS from day one, those tiny, annoying sugar ants, everyone has them in this complex and the management never can get rid of them. We had some cheap defective furniture that half way through the year we finally got replaced and we had trouble with our sink and showers etc. Just lots of little problems that took a while to get fixed. The mgmt tries to be nice by throwing stupid parties and get togethers, but they should be spending that $$ on fixing the apts up.
