Politely scamming you!

The management at University Commons are all a bunch of sharks. If you ever ask them questions, they'll purposely lie to you (in person and over the phone) because "verbal communication has no contractual standing." When you move out, they'll charge you for bogus things that you helplessly can't disprove. The place isn't that great either! The place is a ever-deteriorating environment, with always something not working, insects everywhere, paper thin ceilings, immature neighbors, and a lumbering air of irresponsibility. Don't get suckered by the price and the furniture. Remember, you have to live here for a year! Expect to pay an additional 10% of your lease on their scams! I guess that's what you get for living in an age-controlled apartment -- students cycle through all failing to see the big scam. How can the management live with themselves' And if you DO move there, stay strong, don't let them get away with anything. I'd highly advise you to record all telephone conversations with them, and look for hints when they lie to your face. Their scam is REAL so always remember that they have a nasty endgame ready for you. Good luck. (Recording calls is legal in Texas despite what they'll tell you.)
