I'm voluntarily writing this review as a form of public apology to the current management of Walden Pond Apartments. Several weeks ago I wrote a review in which I engaged in a base character attack against the management of Walden Pond Apatments. Much of what I wrote in the review was written out of anger and was uncalled for. While I still believe that there are many improvements needed on the property, the problems can only be rectified by the owner of the property, not the manager. I would like anybody who did read my previous post to take this into consideration when checking out apartments around College Station. The managers here are friendly, outgoing people who are willing to work with the residents on any issue. I have only been to the office personally two or three times, so my account of management being "worthless" is completely unsubstantiated. The issue that urged me to write the original review (pet deposit) was actually being attended to and resolved by management even as I was launching into my malicious tirade. As far as the comments about the owner of the property, everything that I mentioned was based on rumor and hearsay - I have never met the owner personally, never dealt with him/her on any issue, and have never even seen him/her, so I have no credible experience on which to base any kind of opinion about him/her. To reiterate, I apologize to anybody whose opinion may have been negatively influenced by my immature remarks, and I apologize to the managers of Walden Pond Apartments.
