I've lived at Hunter Point for 3 years and have had no major problems. I really enjoyed living here. 99% of the time there is parking close to your apartment and lots of open space with trees and grass (Great for dog lovers). The neighbors are usually pretty quite. Majority of the residents are grad students. (No loud PARTIES). Made lots of new friends.

The units themselves are older but spacious and comfy. I first had a 1 bedroom then transfer to a 2 bedroom with a backyard. This last year I saw lots of improvement with management. They added insulation to all the 4 plexes and solar screens this year. It made a huge difference.

Management was kind of a pain at first; you would see different managers at one time. They all told you something but didn t stay long enough to enforce anything. Virginia is the manager now; she would always go out of her way to assist me. Her office staff was always so friendly when calling or stopping by. Work orders are done usually same day or the next day. Sometimes it would take a 2nd called before something got replace but was repaired the first time. Not that many amenities but that's because the rent is low.

The only real downside for me was traffic on the south end if you were going out on Welsh traveling south (High School traffic). One more major thing was the UGLY gold stoves. You would think you were living in the 70 s. But I guess I should not complain much because they work.

I would recommend this place to anyone.
