I've been here for a short amount of time, and so far, the parking is a nightmare, but we were warned about that. I've heard people yell the gate code to total strangers trying to get in at the gate, seen people piggyback and get in without having to punch the code in. The blinds fall down and noone will fix them, the garbage disposal screws up and they're not there to fix it until the next day, and your sink's backed up. There's no hot water, then whoosh it's scalding. The carpet was shampood when we moved in but weird black spots are coming from no where all of a sudden. We were promised splash guards on the bathtub, as we've got small children, and that wasn't there. The ceiling fan is noisyer than my husband snores, which is pretty loud. The doors stick, or are coming apart, or the frames look as if someone broke them, the countertops are cracking and peeling. There's a draft in the windows and noone will come look at them even. You can hear EVERYTHING going on next door, upstairs, and outside. The drains outside fill up with water and don't go down for days after it's rained, even a little bit. I'm noticing that even with being friendly to the staff, if they're busy, they'll flat out ignore you, even when you say things like "I see you're busy, I'll come back later", they don't even acknowlage your presence. After reading these other reviews, I'm terrified they'll try to charge me for things we've not done to the place.
It looks as if they just slapped ten coats of thick paint on here, to cover up the bad spots, not caring if it's neat or not. I don't feel safe at night, and I have yet to see any sort of security here or police patroling the area. I sure hope things get better soon. They need to hire more maintenence people.
