Beware if you move here. Once your name goes on that contract things change. Make sure you write down everything on the move in inventory sheet or you will get charged for it when you move. I don't have a camera but you should take photos of your place when you move in and when you move out just to protect yourself. Maintenance is not too good. Things are just patched up and that that. The appliances are ancient and they absolutely do nothing to improve the apartment interior. If you move in and have ratty appliances you will have them until you move out or they blow up. You spend money for rent but get absolutely zero in return. Office staff is not friendly or helpful. Be aware there is only one fire extinguisher for the entire complex and that is located at the front of the office. So if you don't live near there and you have a fire good luck. Better have renters insurance if you live here.

I agree. When you sign your contract....TAKE PICTURES AND BRING A LAWYER!!! THEY HAVE A LOT OF CRIME THERE. VANDALISM AND THEFT. THE CORPORATE OFFICE, MANAGEMENT, AND MAINTENANCE DO NOT CARE. THEY WILL JUST ASK YOU IF YOU HAVE RENTERS INSURANCE. NO ONE THAT I HAVE TALKING TO HAS GOTTEN THEIR DEPOSIT BACK AFTER MOVING OUT. I HAVE TALKED TO AT LEAST 10 PEOPLE. I GUESS THEY ARE USING EVERYONES APARTMENT TO FIX UP THE "DUMP". EVERYONE IS MISERABLE THERE. NO ONE IS HAPPY. OFFICE STAFF, TENANTS , MAINTENANCE. ETC....

yes i agree as well ths place is bad! i live there now and wish i never left westlake. at least they fixed stuff and we had security! we have had a furnace issue for a few months. so being tired i called people on this complex. im sorry i ever moved there!
