Amenities, Beautiful, and the glass is half full.

I have lived here for almost 2 years. I have recently checked out some brand new luxury apartments on the SE side of Houston and although beautiful they don't offer as much as we have here. Price range is the same but less amenities. Every place is going to have its up's and down's, I guess it is all how you look at it. I do have to say that as these homes were marketed to me as "sound-proof", this is NOT the case. So just by chance if someone is reading this, have young active children that run through the apartments (inside) very late at night...your first floor neighbors are hearing every bit of it. Understanding that kids will be kids; have consideration for your neigbors that may have to work the next day. As for management, I haven't really had any problems but I don't require much from them. Mail has always been a problem but I guess it is time to address the Postmater because that is out of managements hands, unless of course they would like to speak with the postmaster. We have great benefits with garages that open to our apartments (single or double) we don't pay extra for them. Our rooms are large in most cases. We have nice kitchens with glass cooktops and black appliances. And to boot, when is the last time you rented around here and got a jacuzzi tub and separate shower. So yes, the glass is half full, it's all in how you look at it.
