DON'T LIVE HERE! DON'T LIVE HERE! DON'T LIVE HERE!

This place is bad. Paper thin walls, shoddy construction, no parking, horrible staff.
At first it was okay....but towards the end of our lease it was horrible. There was absolutely no parking and we had to park 3 buidlings over (which was the closest spot).
I wrote a reveiw in August so I'm not going into detail here but beware of the move out. In the lease, it specifies that you have to get your apartment and the carpet professionally cleaned. I understood that and knew I was probably not going to get my deposit back but at least I wouldn't have to owe them anything. I was dead wrong. They said they have to replace my carpet, clean the whole place because it was filthy, and paint the walls. 1)Before I turned in the keys, I painted the whole place...I got the paint matched and everything. It actually looked better when i moved out than when I moved in. It also does not say anything in the lease about having to get the apartment professionally painted (the assistant manager told me that it states that in my lease and then proceeded to give me a copy of the move out requirements....which said NOTHING about professional painting). 2) I didn't clean the carpet, but I got out all of the stains and it looked like it just needed a steam clean. They said they had to replace it because I did too much damage...yeah right. 3) Me and 3 other people cleaned that place inside and out with bleach, anti-baterial soap, and lysol and there wasn't a speck of dirt anywhere.
The apartment manager won't return my calls and refuses to give me a copy of my move out sheet. Later, I found out that they pay someone else to clean the apartments and that the manager of the complex does not actually do a walk through. They just bill you for whatever the cleaning company billed them.
Then about 3 wks after I got the first bill from them for the move out, they sent me another that said they had to do more repairs to the carpet....BUT I HAD ALREADY MOVED OUT AND RECEIVED THE FIRST BILL!!! How can they bill me for carpet repair after the new tenet has already moved in.
I'm thinking about going to my old apartment and seeing what exactly they replaced, which I bet they didn't do anything and just sent me a bill.
DO NOT LIVE HERE....it sucks.
