Please make sure that you read your lease very carefully. And do not expect your deposit back.
A collegue on mine who also stayed at this complex warmed me that she did not recieve her deposit back despite leaving har apartment spotless.
I still had 6 months left on my lease so I asked the manager about this, and she clearly stated that regardless of how I left the apartment I would be charged for repainting and making the carpet look like new!! I was shocked to hear this as every other complex I have lived in has always allowed normal wear and tear.
Parking is a problem as it seems that there are more covered spaces than open spaces, but you must pay between $20-30 for the carport.
Also be wary of parking next to the dumpsters, my car was hit by a stray beer bottle shattering my windshield.
The Maintainance guys are very helpful and fixed everything pretty quickly, the office however was very slow at processing the maintainance requests
Good luck with the carpet. The carpet in our unit was new, but as soon as you start vacuming you will get huge fiber balls being pulled out of the carpet. Within a couple of months the carpet looked as though it is years old.
Internet connection is thru BDR. Connection is pricey and slow.
Basic cable is available or you can sign a contract with Direct TV,(The complex has a large satalite but the picture goes out whenever there is heavy rain.)
Club House - This is for apearance only and can not be rented out- not sure what the purpose of it is.
School bus drop off/pick up. Kids are required to be picked up/dropped off outside the office. After school, they are required to walk home. We were specifically told that they are not allowed to wait in the office. I have a problem with this, as there is always a lot of traffic in the complex and people in general do not drive carefully. I now pick up my child rather than have her try to walk thru the complex.
The complex itself is not horrible, but the managment team is not the best for customer service.

I had the same problem at this complex with my lease and the painting issue. However, I kept the original copy of the lease I signed and it specifically states that you have to pay for a professional carpet clean and an apartment cleaning. BUT...no where on there did it mention you had to pay for a professional re-painting of your apartment upon move out. The managment tried to pull this on me and I eventually had to go to their managment company to get it cleared up (because I had repainted the apartment myself with matched paint). I guess they changed the leases sometime after I moved in but I never resigned an updated copy or was made aware of the fact I had to pay for a professional paint job. They also tried to charge me for new carpet because of 'black spots.' I asked for pictures of these alleged 'black spots' (because I had pictures of clean carpet) and after the girl called 2 different managers and the cleaning crew to find pictures, she said the spots didn't come out on the pics. Bad, bad office staff. I'm glad to finally be in a house.
