I just moved out of this place and they charged me for painting, carpet cleaning, and a general clean of the apartment. These items should be covered under the normal wear and tear section of my lease contract. I contacted the Apartment Association and they told me that an apartment cannot charge you for holes smaller than a dime in diameter and cannot charge you to paint the apartment after I move out unless I painted the walls or caused actual damage. Yet they charged me almost $200 to paint an apartment I lived in for 9 months. I cleaned my apartment, even the appliances, bleached the caulking in the tub and mopped the floor. I didn't have stains on my carpet and they still charged me $500. The last 2 places I lived gave me a full refund of my deposit. These people are crooks. When I called and asked for the corporate office they refused to give it to me. They told me to go online and leave an email. Well the email box says that it's going to the property manager! All they do is lie. I'm a student and I can't afford to get screwed over. My deposit only covered some of the charges and now I'm out of pocket. I told the manager that I was going to sue them and she said go ahead we get sued all the time. What kind of crap is that' She actually encouraged me to sue because she said the corp office doesn't care and nothing would be done. She was like taunting me. Crazy _____! So I went on the Better Business Bureaus website. And God almighty they actually have the corp office number on there and I discovered that this company has a F rating with the BBB. Do your research!!!! If I had known that I would have never ever moved into this place.

I had the same problem when I lived there and the managers never do anything to make them not leave their nasty trash sitting outside the door or on the porch. You might be living in the apartment that I moved out of because I moved out in April!!! Don't expect to get any of your deposit back when you move out. Even if you leave the place spotless.
