Aside from the ever chaning management, which really does seem to rotate every 6 months with new faces. The problem is really the tenants. Loud music, loud neighbors, loud you-name-its. Complaints seem to be ignored, and there is a "poor" class of tenants with "poor" mannerism. For example coming home at around 9:40pm after enjoying lunch with my boyfriend, I was shocked to see two people having sex in the pool, it was Friday night and there were still tenants arriving home from their previous engagements-all of which were greeted by the obnoxiously loud girl being "banged" on the steps of the pool. Other drunken parties occur weekly as well. For example on a week night I was suddenly woken up to screams of "Help! Help! Help me!" at around 3am. I peered out of my window to see a guy who was so drunk he passed out in the pool, his friend could not lift him out. Continous problems such as these are a daily occurence, and actually after a matter of months you learn to live with them, but this is the kind of complex that you truly need to keep to yourself in. You shouldn't make friends with the poor social class living here. However if you are a full time college student and need an inexpensive place to rest your head, then Gladstell is for you. But, if there is any way, any way at all to spend a few more dollars on a "pricey" apartment, choose wisely and make the investment, your sleep and peace of mind will thank you.
