Spacious for the price but...

The electric bills are high in the summer. In the hottest three months the ac unit is fighting a losing battle. In the middle of the day during the summer my top floor apartment will not go below 80 degrees.
The complex also has a deal with some podunk cable company (Ygnition) that gives them exclusive rights. All they do is resell dish network, and at this complex thier outdated equipment doesn't even provide HD channels. Ygnition also provides the cable internet service, and all they do is lease a T1 line for the entire complex and then split it up among subsribers, so its slow and overpriced. Thankfully the staff gave me permission to have directv installed even though my apartment did not face the proper direction to have a balcony installation. You can also get dsl from the local phone company, but that sucked too (mabye i've always been spoiled by comcast/TW cable internet as Conroe is the farthest out in the sticks i've ever lived.)
Staff is very friendly and responsive. Never had any problems with management or maintenance.
