I lived in Redford Park for 6 months starting in September of 2006. Along with giving my 60 day required move out notice I made sure that the apartment was immaculately clean when I left. My last load was after the office closed in the evening and I dropped my keys through the mail slot. I started getting harrassing phone calls from their collection agency in early June 2007. They did not contact me from the property to let me know of any fees left owing in addition to what my deposit should have more than covered. They reported to the collection agency that I had broken my lease, left the apartment filthy (I have witnesses to the contrary) and that I did not turn in my keys.
I have proof with my checking account that my Uhaul was rented on the afternoon of 3/5/07 that was the end of my 60 day notice. No representative from this property attempted to contact regarding any unfulfilled obligation on my part. The Contact number they have is my cell phone number and is the one that the collection agency is harrassing me on, I know they supplied it to them since cell numbers are not published. This is also my work number. My oven was broken the entire time I was there and I requested maintenance on it, the maintenance guy came out promptly but was unable to repair the problem. I requested a new stove and was told there were none to give me. For $630.00 a month rent I would think they could replace a stove. They are now charging me for proration for the first six days of March Which after checking my records I do owe but should have had my deposit subtracted from and a fees for breaking my lease and leaving the apartment dirty in the amount of $728. This is ridiculous and I am searching for a good attorney at this time. If you want information about this property call me (903)819-2887.

Alica, I can relate to your problem. I moved from there a yr ago, I lived there 3 yrs and it was good till the last year. Billie is a real ----- and would do nothing about a druggie living next door and driving his motorcycle late at night on the property up and down the driveway, and driving even on the sidewalk. You can also take them to the Small Claims Court here in Conroe. Get written statements from your witnesses and get them notorized, that way, hopefully, they won't have to go to court with you. Good Luck
