I moved out of there three years ago. When my husband and I moved in, they had a $99 move in special, no deposit. We left the place clean enough, nothing ridiculously dirty. But because we never paid a deposit, they had to get their money somehow. They charged us $292 for cleaning. We were so angry at the time that we paid a portion of it but refused to pay the rest. Now it is showing up on my husbands credit report as us oweing $292, instead of $195 like we really owe. We're going to go up there soon to try to fix the problem and pay off the balance just so my husband's credit can get better. I too tried to get out of the lease because I didn't feel safe there. My husband had to travel for his job and would be gone for weeks ata time. We had people we didn't know knocking on our door late at night really loud. One girl asked us if we had any marijuana. This just wasn't the type of place we wanted to live in. I would reccomend Gladstell Forest just down the road. The apartments aren't as pretty, but the people there were all very friendly, it was clean, and we got our deposit back!

I can't blame you for moving, but I moved from there 2 yrs ago and was really afraid to live there most of the time. The dogs that are allowed in there is scary. Pit Bulls. Dangerous and even one guy told me not to get near his dog, that it would bite! Management was so rude and could not control the drug use going on there. Even the on site police officer that lives there would do nothing. If they didn't answer the door he would just walk away. No security at all!

OK REALLY...I use to work there and let me tell you me and my boss did not split on good terms but I was a manager there and absolutely NO PITS were allowed...the property manager is very OCD on cleanliness so I know its clean and she will be at your door personally if she thinks your causing any problems. Other then the personal discrepancy with me and the manager I would live there anyday with my two kids. The apartments are the nicest around there for the price.
