I was the first person to live in my apartment after the facility opened in '05 and stayed for a year and a half (year lease 6month lease). During that time I had only one problem with maintenance (a dripping hot water heater) which was fixed immediately.
Parking could get a bit cramped at times, but other than that I had no issues at all. Everything was clean, quiet and pleasant. I had no issues getting my deposit back, although mine was apparently a lot less than other posters' (much less than 1/2 a month's rent). Office staff was friendly, but I don't spend a lot of time in the office unless I'm picking up a package. They were friendly when I asked to extend my lease and friendly when I told them I was moving out. The gym's not the fanciest, but the equipment always worked and it was clean. Nice pool.
The only reason I moved was to go to a newer complex, and I regret that decision for a couple reasons. It's noisier, more expensive, and with less storage in the apartment.
Heritage was a nice enough apartment complex, and I'm not sure where the anger of other reviewers comes from. Ants' Don't leave food out and buy a 2 dollar ant-trap or ask the exterminator to come by more than the once per month he already sprays. Convictions keeping you out' This has nothing to do with the apartment building, tell it to a lawyer. Noisy neighbors' This happens in every apartment in the world, it's only an issue with the complex if they have a complex-wide noise problem, if they are letting in unruly tenants, or if they don't respond to complaints. My favorite is the complaint about cost. Did you take a look around before signing the lease, or do any comparison visits to other buildings'

Well, on the app. it says there can be no Felony Conviction. There is NO felony conviction on file...there is a misdemeanor that was taken care of and was exspunged. But she is using that to keep us out, so yeah maybe we should talk to a lawyer about descrimination...

Don't assume because you had no problems that no one else could have, it took me 6 months through Houston Apt Assc to get even part of my deposit back and my apt was spotless tried to charge me 450.00 to paint and we had been there 16months. I have OCD my house was beyond spotless and we were over run with ants every few months. You got lucky some of us didn't.
