Nice place, horrendous management

I filled out an application here, despite a feeling that something wasn't quite right. Michel, the leasing agent, showed me the exact unit that was available. I was very impressed and filled out all the paperwork, expecting no problems. I get a call the next day, saying that I needed to come by to get a copy of something. I go by and they can't find my paperwork. I go by the next day and they can't find my paperwork again...I was starting to get frustrated, then I get a call saying they found my paperwork and they couldn't find it before because I told them the wrong apt number. They told me I was supposed to move into a different unit (right by the highway). I immediately headed back over there to see what was going on. Michel had promised me an apartment, then after I left she had switched the number on all of the paperwork...she just crossed it out and wrote a different number after I had signed. She even altered my check which had the apt number on it! Not only was this wrong, it is flat out against the law. If you are thinking about moving here, think twice...then think again. The apartments are so nice, but the management is terrible and I consider myself lucky to be able to get out before it was too late. Run while you can!
