Nice Place to Live

I have lived in Kensington Park since May 2006 and am scheduled to move out the end of December 2006. Overall, I am most pleased with this apartment community. This is a safe community to live in and there are some officers who patrol the property regularly. I will say the parking was alot better in the summer and then after the fall semester started it became difficult to find a parking place at times. You don't have a problem if you sign up for a reserved parking space. I will say another thing I think is unfair to the tenant at this place is if someone moves into an apartment the middle of the month, they are held responsible for the remainder of that month in addition to six more months if someone is interested in signing a six-month lease. You are also required to give a 60-day move out notice. I gave my notice in mid-October and they are making me pay through the end of December rather than mid-December. Obviously, this is one of their scams to con people out of more money to live here. The apartment staff are all very nice and helpful. I found the maintenance team to repair my requests within one or two days. I was always pleased with the results. Also, I will mention if you prefer to live in a quiet community, you may want to look elsewhere because it can get loud outside at times due to the large number of college kids that live here. But, if you are wanting to reside in the Corinth area, this is the only apartment complex in this town. I love the fact that this community has access gates and an intruder alarm in the apartments - two ammenities I look for when searching for an apartment. If safety is a concern to you, this is an ideal place to live. One last thing, I was not aware that I would have to pay a pet rent charge of $10/month until after I went in to sign my lease. They also charge a pet deposit too. This is the only apartment I have lived in where they charge you a pet rent.
