I always took the reviews on this site, as it is more likely that there is a review if a person has had a bad experience. Similarly, if the review sounds too good to be true, I would have to admit that it sounds plausible for the management to have written it. I wanted to give Kensington Park a fair review, but that was before my move-out experience....

1) This apartment community is pricey, for what it is worth. The pool is always messed up for some reason and you can't swim in it. It's suppose to be a gated community and the gates stay open all the time. The remotes never work to open the gates. The remotes never work for the work out room either.


2) The management team was extremely unproffesional and this showed through more and more as we stayed here longer. They don't keep things confidential about their clients. I think things should be kept private amoung clients. You should'nt have to find out from a neighbor about a situation that happened with your apartment, which is the case witht this place!

3) The apartment is badly insulated, both in terms of temperature as well as noise. When I moved out all of my clothes smelled of smoke and I had to wash everything.

4) When I first moved here they told us that, "they don't favor college students." I had 15,000 dollars in my bank account, so I paid up front 9 months in advance to live here. I told them, "I am only going to live here for 9 months." Then they charged us an extra month because we didn't give a 60 day notice. So as you can tell, all they want is your money here. In fact you could say I gave them a 9 month notice not a 2 month notice.

5) Mice and bug problems. We called the office and they told us they don't have mice in their apartments. Hello! I live in my apartment, I'd think I'd know if I saw a mouse run accross my feet.

My balcony door never locked the whole time I lived here. I had to call like 3 times to get them to come and fix it. THey never fixed it the whole time I lived here. When I moved out it still wasn't fixed.

6 ) Our move-out experience: When I moved out, I made sure I had everything as clean as I could get it because I wanted my pet deposit and apartment deposit back. But when your livng at Kensington, it doesn't matter how clean you make the place, they are going to find some way to get extra money and charge you for it just so they will not have to give your money back.

So for a full summary of this place, if you want to be miserable where you live, this is the place to be. And yes if you are the staff, I'm sure that you look at this site everyday and you will try to leave some kind of rude comment back to me.
That's ok. Your overall character has shown through out this whole expierence and sure has on this sight when ex- clients have left bad reviews. You should take these reviews as a working tool to try to make this place a better place for people to live so the reviews on here will more positive than negative.

I AM SORRY YOU HAD TO PAY FOR DOG PEEING ALL OVER THE CARPET AND NOT BEING SMART ENOUGH TO GIVE A 60 DAYS NOTICE EVEN THOUGH IT WAS STATED ON YOUR LEASE... HAVE A NICE SUMMER WITH MOM & DAD LIVING BACK AT HOME BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE ENOUGH COMMON SENSE TO LIVE ON YOUR OWN. YOU ARE RIGHT!! PEOPLE POST COMMENTS HERE WHEN THEY ARE UNHAPPY & WANT TO COMPLAIN! EVEN YOUR ROOMATE COMPLAINED ABOUT YOU!! LOL AND YOUR DOWNSTAIRS NEIGHBORS DIDN'T LIKE YOU EITHER

I just laugh when I see the comment you gave me back to me because it proves exactly that you are one of the management. Hopefully, people will see that this is a place they don't need to live at because of rude unproffesional management like you. I know how I left my apartment and it was in good condition. My dog did NOT pee all over the floor.And where ever I am living right now is none of your business. Maybe if you would get a life and get off of this website you could do your job better and people here wouldn't be so unhappy!
