I lived here for a year and it wasn't the best in town but definitely not the worst. Because they do market-value pricing, the price of an apt fluctuates each day. So you can end up getting screwed on the cost of rent. Basically, the closer you rent towards move-in, the cheaper the apt. There are a ton of birds around the complex in the early morning and evening hours. It's extremely loud but you have to get used to it. They pressure spray the sidewalks once or twice a week to clear away all the birdpoop...It's hard to pull out of the apt b/c Staples is such a busy street. Especially around 'rush' hour times. The part of town is nice, however, for a good few weeks there were a lot of car breakins. The gates worked about 85% of the time. Some of the neighbors are creepy but you can't really help that and could happen anywhere you go. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. I didn't get screwed on my deposit either which was a first!
