so i came down for college but where i came from my parents wanted me to live in oncampus housing first year. we viewed the residence halls and they were small but very pretty! I chose to live in the halls with the 1 bedroom 1 bath type thing but your beds are seperated by a bathroom. I swear no lie that our specific sides of the room are no bigger than a parking space for a car. A little bigger than a walk in closet and they are so EXPENSIVE!!! I pay $480 for my parking space room. along with my roommate so together that is $960 for 2 parking spaces and a bathroom. Each hall has a laundry room and a kitchen on each floor. But that is not near enough for the 80 some odd residents on that floor. I have had clothes stolen from laundry rooms, ipods stolen from my own restroom, and many disruptions outside my 2nd floor window at 2-3 in the morning. to make it all so much better, i have to walk thru my roommates room to get to mine, invading her privacy. i can hear my neighbors at all hours and there is always GROSS STENCHES. The staff isnt absolutely horrible some dont care bout anything but i have an awesome RA. He has been there when i have had problems or questions, and report things when things need reported. Overall i can say that this is a good experience and i will use it to help decide on further apartment complexes. This place is definitely not worth the rent, but worth the experience and friends that you make whilst living here.
