I loved living at Ocean Drive Estates, It is a small community here on Ocean Drive. It has been my favorite place to live! The staff Marissa and Aaron know the residents very well because of it's smaller size complex and they are able to do an amazing job keeping this place running and always taking the smallest issues seriously. It is nice because alot of the bigger apartments don't treat you like this smaller one does. The grass is green, the pool is shallow and then deep at the other end, nice fittness room with good A/C! At night time, its very quite as matter in fact when my family comes to visit me from out of state they enjoy the evening stroll around the complex just enjoying the environment. Theres a nice BBQ pit that you can grill off of on the other side from the swimming pool open to everyone. The staff always has a small holiday party for the residents to come over to. They have alot of pictures in the office over the years of every holiday party, so you can see how nice of an environment and friendly these people are. I gotta say that with my comparisons with alot of apartments this apartment is pretty cheap! Why' because a 800 square footage apartment would be the same price as a 725 square footage apartment of the same price AND quality (more square feet for the same price) so its a spacious floorplan but I love how the place looks expensive if you judge the book by its cover. I have several pets and they never had any problems with pets really. Theres a lady here who has lived here for over 12 years and I can see why she would stick around here that long. If you happen to get one of their floor plans with a patio, you will be surprise how private and or how big they are. The location is also a thousand points to their rating! only under 3 miles to the College and the Naval Base, and 5 to 6 minutes to South Padre Island Drive, and under half a mile to the Alameda business strip so I have been saving ALOT of gas, should be able to just use a bicycle around here. Looked up the Crime Index and the Registered Sex Offenders AND records of police reports and this area is the lowest, meaning it is like living back in my small home town except it is in a very nice part of the city.
