Do not move here, ESPECIALLY MILITARY! They will not charge military persons with a deposit however they will bill military individuals and they try to "stick it" to them. Very un-American! Beware! They will take pictures of damage caused by past residents of your apartment and blame it on you, sending you the individual bill... i.e. lifting the carpet and taking pictures of permanent stains, something they don't show you before you move in so there is no proof conveniently. The new management is a terror to residents, will yell at you like you are a child when they WORK FOR you. RUDE! It only gets worse when you need to move. Not worth your time, money or trouble for old, dilapidated, inefficient apartments. They only replace the carpet every few years but will lie to you when you move in saying its new... believe me if it has stains and is pilling when you move in - its not new! They are really friendly before you sign the papers then they will start to be really rude. Expect a shocking utility bill too, this place is old and your AC will leak and at times, it will not work. The only plus side is the gardening is getting better but that still doesn't make the trouble worth the time. Also this place looks like it was from the 1970's... the pictures online probably are too because those photos are very misleading. I have only seen a couple people pick up after their dogs. In the Texas heat the stuff starts to cook and unfortunately those that don't pick up outnumbers the people that do. Oh and the gym' The equipment is mostly broken, not worth it!
