Overall, I have a big apt with a covered parking spot, all for under $700. I do not believe in paying outrageous rent for something I do not own, therefore this is perfect. I am not asking for frills, or to be treated like royalty. Most of my neighbors are pleasant, the office always answers my questions to the best of their ability, and maintenance always fixes anything I need. He even leaves me a note to tell me what the problem was or what he fixed.
Remember, here, you are living in an older apartment complex. If you want things to be perfect, they won't be. And anyway, virtually anywhere you go there will be leaks, things that break, dog crap and cigarette butts. If you want perfection, go rent a $1200/mo 1 bdrm apartment somewhere. You still won't be happy. Secondly, you CAN NOT beat the rent pricing for the area. We live in a nice suburban cove across from a library and a fitness center. No busy street traffic, etc. It is close to many of the major freeways.
Above all, I am very happy with Stephanie in the apartment office. I don't know the other women who work there, bc I prefer just to ask for her. She is very efficient, very knowledgeable and very reasonable. As long as you aren't asking for something crazy, she will make sure it gets taken care of.
I have had my fair share of incidents, maintenance issues, what have you... but who doesn't' And overall, I am extremely happy with Central Park Regency.

Your reply to go rent a $1200 mo. apt was inconsiderate at best and a little smart alec toward those of us who experienced significant issues. Hooray for Stephanie! Keep up the good work.

I was only pointing out that even if you spent the money to live somewhere expensive and what have you, there would still be problems there... I have had what would be considered very 'significant issues' at this apartment complex too... but they have always been addressed and taken care of in a timely fashion. And I believe that is what counts.
