I noticed a review about cockroaches and that seems odd to me because in the 7 months that I've lived there, I have yet to see a single bug in my apartment! Maybe it has to do with personal cleanliness but I think that review was a little exagerated!
I currently live in the 1b/1b and I have been very pleased! My boyfriend and I are moving in together (upgrading to a bigger unit) but staying with Stonegate Villas!) Alex and Tammy are the members of staff that I have dealt with the most and they are very professional, very helpful, and very friendly!
I actually had to complain about an upstairs neighbor once that was using a new treadmill and it was this constant, almost rhythmic, thumping on my ceiling very early in the morning. The staff said they said they would call her and ask her to exercise at a more reasonable hour and within 10 minutes of hanging up the phone, the thumping stopped!
They also have started offering online rent payment which is great because now those that complain about the staff won't have to interact with them as often!
I also have 3 coworkers ( ages ranging 22, 36, and 71!) that live in the complex as well and they are very happy there, also! I think its a great place to live...all communities have downfalls when you get that many people in one area! But this place feels like home!!!


Wanted to edit my review since I upgraded to a new unit...I have had issues with work orders not being completed in a timely manner if at all. I needed a light bulb changed...I even originally offered to go down to the office and get a bulb to do it myself but management insisted that they would be happy to take care of it. A work order was entered and i was told that I should give them 3 days to get the job done. One week later I called to check as the bulb hadn't been changed...my work order had been closed as "complete" and I did have to argue that I was looking at the bulb and it wasn't lighting up so clearly it hadn't been completed! Management was apologetic and offered to re-enter the w.o. as a "rush". Yet another week later I went down to the office, got the bulb and took care of it myself...no apology from the staff this time. It just seemed silly that it took 2 weeks to get something done that I had offered to do myself in the first place! I think Tammy is on maternity leave...I MISS HER!!! She got things done!!!

I actually still live in the complex...no issues. I have no problem posting my user name instead of posting as "anonymous"...I stand by my original review with the exception of the fact that I placed a work order and 2 weeks later it still hadn't been completed...I expressed my frustration and it was taken care of. Sorry to disagree but I'm still very happy here...maybe you should move???
