I moved into stonegate villas in March of 09, i moved from New York, every thing sounded so good about this place so i rented it. The website and the people that i spoke to was eager to rent it so they buttered up what a nice place it is. They promised me lots of things such as the conference room to hold meetings, they never told me that there was a charge for this. I tried to use the room two weeks ago and they told me that it could only be done after hours and that it was impossible to use it during the day. I do business during the day not after hours, needless to say that i had to hold the meeting in my apartment.
The staff at this apartment really sucks, you cannot speak to the office manager because she is always hiding or does not want to address any situation.
Before i moved here they told me that they will have the apartment cleaned, they never had the carpets cleaned, all they did was vacuum, the walls and the curtains is full of dust, the apartment is making me sick. I went to the staff a few times to address this issues it is falling on deft ears.
I believe that the whole management and staff should be let go and a new one put in place, the management that is in place now is only concern about the bottom line and not the people.
The exercise area have not been cleaned for months, the washer and dryer in the laundry room is in a sorry state and very dirty. i do not used them i bought my own, one of the people that live here showed them to me. The equipment is also not it good shape and is missing lots of parts and not working.
My apartment is not healthy to live in at the moment, things need to be addressed by the management.

I have seen a change in the staff since they took over. It really is a shame; because when the manager first took over she was really on the ball, and took care of problems very quickly. She use to be available when you needed to talk to her about a problem. Now she hides, and that's too bad. The problem with your apartment not being painted or carpets cleaned or replaced is really not acceptable. You can contact the Association of Apartments in Texas, and report this. By law these things should be done. As far as the so called fitness room; well you are best to find a real gym that has working equipment. There are 3 gyms on grant rd. "Fitness 19"..."Core Fitness"..."Planet Fitness". Fitness 19 being the closest one to the apartments. All very cheap memberships. It really is a shame that apartments seem to always go down hill after so many years. Also, they have charged tenants $50 more on rent renewals without offering anything special. They need to look around at all the new apartments being built, and keep rent within reason. Many tenants are not renewing leases due to this. Good luck to you!

Thanks for responding to exactly what i have noticed, you are right the manager hides in her office, i am really not sure who Lindsey is or even what she looks like. Thanks for sending the info on the association that i can call. I am going to give my notice soon if they cannot live up to what they offered me. I am paying $1000.00 per month but now getting what i am paying for. The manager is going to run this place into the ground if she does not put some money back into the complex. Thanks.

I have lived here for 1 year and just renewed my lease for another 7 months the only thing bad that I CAN SAY is that the fence is always broken other then that this was a great place to live. The population is turning in to all ------- americans black people its like they dont care who they rent to anymore the other nite i had a black man come to my door and ask me for money!! what is that this is not the projects I pay alot of money to have a nice home and now im counting the days so i can get out I wish I never would have released. On another not When i have problems with my apt they are on top of it my water heater busted the other day and less than 48 they got me a brand new one and everything i love the management i have never had problems with them maybe because i always pay rent and i am always on time and i am always in there to say hi to them I dont know the only problem i have is the people they are renting to now !!!

Seriously? If that is your only problem that they are renting to black people then it seems to me like you have some issues you need to work out. Maybe you need to get a HOME instead of renting apartments since you pay so much money. The amount of money you pay in rent could go towards a mortgage.
