In Response to Security in apartment communities......"when a resident decides to tell the office that they have been robbed, car broken into, etc., what do they honestly think the staff can do'! Honestly' What do residents expect' It is not that the office does not care, there is just NOTHING we can do!!!!!"
Honestly' I do agree about contacting the police, but I think it should also be reported to the apt. office. As for what we expect when we do report such problems' How about writing up a report and notifying your other residents that this is going on, so that these residents are aware that their fellow neighbors are being robbed, car broken into, etc. That is what residents expect of staff when these problems are reported.
