Welived there for 2 years and between the police in the parking lot, drug deals going on in the parking lots, rude office staff(not maintenence they were great), being told maybe we should live some where else when we complained. This place stinks. The residents where put out when construction was going on so that construction could be accomodated. Mud way in the parking lot for two months so you track it in. Still waiting for the pool and fitness center to be finished as they where to be done before summer. Nothing is finished. They wait to a cold day to take the front doors off and replace them ripping the paint when they took them out and never fixing them. But they don't want to hear about it. The staff changed so much you never knew who worked there(except that they much because they are rude)

I haven't seen a cop car in the parking lot for over three months (except the two or three that live here). As for drug deals in the parking lot, I haven't seen it but drugs are everywhere why on earth would someone sell that junk in public if they could slip in their apartment and not risk being seen? I have a yahoo near me having parties all hours of the night dumping trash, but I haven't complained so that's my fault. If I go and talk to the office, they will work on it. I did talk to them about a family of 8 or 12 living in a two bedroom only because they were scary, those folks disappeared one day soon after. I've lived here since 2003 and like every complex, village has had it's ups and downs. Elvis in the office is "ALWAYS" responsive to my requests...occasionally his answer is no (which I hate) but he listens and does the best he can do. I've NEVER not been heard by the office, a couple of times I've had to call twice but they have always responded. As for the big pool and gym, it's supposed to open in July and that is still this summer. The little pool is open and I watch wet people walking back from it all the time. I'm working on a project so I'm home all day and night, I see a lot. I complained profusely about the construction out here but they are almost done and even I have to admit the place looks a lot better. I know village isn't perfect, if I wanted or could afford perfect I would be somewhere else, but for the price I feel safe and comfortable coming and going from my apartment. I promise you are spending between one and two hundred more per month where you moved whether it's in gas or in rent. It's not the Ritz or the Hilton but for me it's home. |

Glad you had a good experience but that has not been ours. They still have construction issues that where not finished on our apartment the office staff changes so much you don't know who they are. I don't think the pool and fitness center will be open in july but you can dream. There was police in the parking lot two weeks ago for a fight. And we found some place nicer same size and cheaper with security gates and a police officers that walks that complex at night. Don't have to deal with the gangs that run around at village in the woods at night.

Well, the construction is finished now, it's a shame that Village in the Woods had to deal with tenants like you because they are trying to make the community a better place to live. I also live here and it's beautiful. I am glad that people like you no longer live here. I haven't seen a drug dealer yet.
