Village in the Woods breeched its lease three times. Exterme noise from apartmnet above us, cars with booming systems any time from 8 AM to the following morning. Attacked by pit bulls in the commuinity which was not allowed and man showing up at our door with a gun at 9 PM. Basically nothing has been done to improve the situation. There are pit bulls on property, loud noises still exist and has for the past year and half and we honestly believe that drugs are being sold on this property. We were told that we complain too much. Since nothing has been done to limit the situations around us, we feel unsafe. I would not tell anyone to live here no natter the price. We would like to break our lease and move immediately but they won't listen to us.

Oh heavens. You must live in the front since parking seems to be a problem for you. Did you make a police report for the man with the gun and the pit bull attack? I didn't see either of them in the news and I'm pretty sure the complex is obligated by law to let tenents know of any dangerous situations that occur that have to be reported to the police. With two police reports, I would think you could talk to them about your lease. I swear this complex is like two communitees, where I live is quiet most of the time and I never have a problem with the office or feel unsafe. We do have one young'n in a blue truck that will play what he calls his "system" a bit too loud. If you go out and ask him nicely, he turns it down and I don't hear from him again till he forgets the next weekend. Are you sure you aren't talking about a boxer? I haven't seen any pitbulls and there is one boxer that gets out quite a bit, I hate that dog but then I don't like boxers in general. Read your lease and talk to Chris about moving. I know Aimco is great about letting you move to another one of thier properties if you don't like the one your in. At least that's what they told me when I moved in. Hope things get better!

I heard about your incident with a couple of dogs. They were loose and started barking at you, but they did not attack you. The manager immediately had the pets removed from the property because they were unauthorized animals. If in fact there are pit bulls, I promise management will have them removed immediately. Also, the man who showed up at your door was a Harris County Sheriff's Officer who attempted to talk to you about the noise his family was making above you. Why would you make it sound like some random stranger showed up at your door with a gun? If your going to write comments, state the truth.

There are pit bulls on the property and No, Aimco will let you move into other apartments on the complex. You clearly are the one lying here.
