Windsor Cypress

My apartment is nice, and the grounds usually look really good, but the parking situation is very frustrating and, in my experience, uncommon in an apartment complex. Since I've never encountered this problem before, it didn't occur to me to be on the lookout for it. I want other potential renters to be warned. This is a relatively small complex, and I like that aspect, but evidently it was planned rather poorly. I work all day so my car is going to be sitting under the hot Houston sun all day. There's no reason I would want to pay additional monthly rent to have a covered parking space or a garage. However, if you don't go with the paid parking here, you may return to your "home" just to find that there is no place for you to park. You get to burn additional gas driving around the complex looking (often in vain) for a place to park. If you're lucky enough to find one, it will often be far from your apartment, and for us women, that can be a security issue late at night. That is the top reason I will not renew my lease. If I'm paying for an apartment at a complex, I should have access to ample, free parking in the lot or, at the very least, close off-street parking, but that is not the case here. I do think the situation may be better at the other end of the complex, but I'm not sure. It is a serious problem at my end of the complex.

I also want to note that the second bedroom in my apartment has no overhead light or ceiling fan. This is another thing I managed to overlook. Here in Houston, a ceiling fan in the bedrooms is almost a requirement.
