1900 Elm is a great place to live for the price. The apartments aren't as new as some of the other lofts downtown, but each unit is really well-done and quite unique. Every time I go inside another unit, I'm impressed. The high ceilings and cool layouts are definitely unique to 1900 Elm. The lobby and hallway areas are older, but I think the current management is looking to do some renovations there. They've already begun working on the floors in the lobby area. The neighbors are outstanding. Everyone is super friendly and respectful. We've met a few good friends while living here the last year. (Except for one crazy guy who drives backwards in the parking garage. Leave it to the crazy guy to spoil the review about the great neighbors!) Management is attentive/responsive when you have a problem... but otherwise are very hands off (read: they stay out of your business unless you need them). I definitely recommend living here!
