So, I live here now, but obviousy not for long. I agree with all the cons eveyone has listed. The staff was great initially. Natalie (red head') was fantastic, Heidi was friendly. However, it is clearly apparent that this property is hard to lease. We constantly get reminders on our doors about referrals to our friends. I went out of town and came home to find out the gates had be broken - again - and 4 cars had been broken into. Mgmt decided to let people know our security was down by posting notices on the OUTSIDE of the building for EVERYONE to see! C'mon! I don't even know who works there anymore. Our manager seems so clueless and careless about the people who live there. I emailed my concerns about false advertising of ammenities MONTHS ago to the regional mgr, I have yet to receive a response. But in the beginning, they called everyone from their Houston office to say hello! (right, 'til something's wrong). Again, I don't want to move b/c I love my layout out my apt, but honestly they need to think about the specials they offered in the beginning and do it again. I would never pay market rent at this place unitl they work on security. (Oh, sorry, I forgot). we have no business/internet center. the computers were stolen so it's locked. Our gorgeous resident lounge that you can only get into during office hours - 'cause that's smart- is also deadbolted, I do believe the TVs were stolen. So overall, maintenance concerns are taken care of, layouts of apts are good, people are friendly and Im close to down/uptown, BUT the security and office staff are pretty scarce. Parking is fine, when the gates are CLOSED. In a nutshell, use the buddy system, know enough about your lease b/c the office won't, and invest in a home...
