If you want it your way, go to Burger King

I have lived in these apartments for a while now. Yes, the management company has changed with the new name being 4343 at the Parkway, and many people are not comfortable with change. Yes, the gates were broken for some time, but I quickly found out this was because the previous management company took the old gate system with them. Why this happened, no clue, but it did and now the gate system is brand new and functioning. When I was in the office to get a new gate opener, the staff was very apologetic and helped me quickly. I couldn't believe the comments I heard from others that were upset about very minor details. I thought, "This isn't Burger King...if you want it your way without any hassles that come with apartment living, BUY A HOUSE!" I suppose since I have been an apartment dweller for quite some time now, I am used to all that comes with living in an apartment complex. With that said, I like living here, I recommend it, and I am willing to stick it out through the change.

Hey chief, way to talk up the management to prospective residents! Already giving away the secret that they won't ever have it their way if they live here!?! Maybe you should suggest they use your "original" saying for their aprtment motto too. It would go so well with their new and "clever" apartment name - they're both terrible!

Yeah, this definitely sounds like someone from the management office wrote it. I agree that as a renter you can't expect perfection, but I think you can expect that the company you are renting from will hold up their end of the deal by enforcing the rules of the complex on everyone and actually monitoring to see that they are followed. If they can't do that, then they shouldn't expect people to be willing to pay more in rent and just sit back and believe them when they give us the old "these are market rates" mumbo jumbo.
