Very nice place. Only a couple of issues.

I have lived here for over a year and really only have one complaint.
I have lived in plenty of apartments and know that you have to put up with occasional noises here and there. It's just the environment and noises come with it.
However, I get really upset when people living above others don't realize that they can't "STOMP" around their apt like you can a house. You can't slam drawers and cabinets. It echoes horribly.
A person lived above me until recently that just didnt seem to care that someone lived below them. It was a daily annoyance and I am glad he has moved out. The new person above me is quiet enough that it is very hard to tell someone is above me..thank god.
So, if you are about to move in and are above someone, please be aware of your surroundings and be respectful of people living around you and especially below you.
Don't get me wrong, I dont think people should tip-toe around, but there are little "steps" you can take to be quieter.
- Don't walk around on the wooden kitchen floors with hard sole shoes. The people below can hear every step. ( besides, didn't your mom teach you to take your shoes off at the door..haha )
- Don't let the door slam behind you. ( I know it happens sometimes, but all the time' Give me a break! I have one neighbor that hasnt picked up on that yet.
- Ummm, the dummies that run down the halls occasionally..WHAT THE ____!
- Just be conscious of your surroundings. I am.
Other than the noise thing, I think this place is awesome. The staff has always acted immediately on any of my needs ( very limited )
A few additional comments:
I think most of us living here were surprised when they repainted the parking stripes along the wall and that they painted the stripes as if they were marking them off for golf carts. I dont know what that was about.
I did get a notice that I was not allowed to store my bike on the patio. That was a jaw dropper for me and everyone I tell. I think that rule needs to be lifted.
Anyway, thats all.
I give the complex and "A" for a place to live.
