Management has been horrible since the day we moved in. Of course it has changed (twice). Each time it has been just as frustrating trying to get what we were promised by the leasing agent (Annie). Everything that has been promised us before we signed the lease was a lie. After a week when we asked the manager at the time where certain things were that we were promised by our leasing agent, the first words out of her mouth were "Do you have that in writing'". After this we made sure to get as much in writing as possible, so the next time we were lied to (two weeks later) and a NEW property manager asked "do you have it in writing'" we could say yes. AND IT STILL TOOK A LETTER FROM AN ATTORNEY THREATENING A LAWSUIT FOR POWER PROPERTIES TO GIVE US WHAT WE WERE CLEARLY PROMISED!!!
In fact, the only way that we have been able to get ANYTHING resolved is by paying a lawyer to threaten them. And, frankly, our attorney wishes that he was able to take them to court to show how negligent and fraudulent they have acted. They couldn't give a crap about following through on promises or making their tenants happy, they just don't want to get sued. I have never felt as violated as I do nearly every time I am forced to deal with the management of these places. Yeah, they have interesting features for just about the same prices as the high-rises and luxury apartments, but I have never been treated so poorly and been so frustrated with any management company/landlord as I am with Power Properties. I am a very good tenant who pays his rent on time and never gets complaints from neighbors, and I have been walked all over by these scam artists.
