If you like 40 year old drug addicts who still think they are 20, loud people who like to play crap music at all times of the day and night, beer bottles laying all around, the constant smell of weed and rude management...
then this is the hell hole for you.
Good luck my friends.
Run as far away as you can.
I wish I did.
The only saving grace is the maintence crew.
They are all really nice and fixed my problems quickly, but this is still not enough to make this place liveable.
Also, be prepared to clean your own apartment when you move in.
Turns out that is not really something they are into.

I live at The 5400 and I totally disagree! Of course we have a few bad apples out of 50 or so neighbors, but overall I think this is a great place to live. The courtyard is so cool and I really love my apartment! My place was cleaned fine when I moved in over 2 years ago. Just wanted to set the record straight.

Are you serious? When I lived there there were more than a few bad apples. The pool area was constantly a mess- beer/liquor bottles EVERYWHERE.

For some reason the scathing review I wrote on this place a few years ago has been deleted. But when I left, I vowed I would do everything in my power to prevent people from renting here. I've moved around a lot and lived in many, many rental properties, and this was the worst experience I ever had. As I said, it's been several years, and I STILL talk about how terrible the environment was. Based on this review, not much has changed. I definitely recommend avoiding this, and any Power Properties location.

Im not a big fan of the place so far. I brought my nephews over to swim the other day and one of the forty year old drunks at the apartment came up to me and asked who let the little niglets in the pool. Then the owner called me not knowing I am white called and said there were two kids at the pool unaccompanied by an adult when I was down there the whole time. Apparently only little white kids are allowed at pool.
