Okay, I live at 5400 Live Oak and my UPTOWN friends think it is scarey over here.... Silly people! It is the only remaining part of Dallas with history and TREES! Well, I had some of my MARQUIS friends over and some from the Renaissance on Turtle Creek...we watched college football and had a cookout. Well, they LOVED my courtyard much better than their own - full of character! ha! One friend may move this way when her lease is up because she adores the tranquility and not the constant noise of a mid rise pool that has NO ambiance. We have a fountain pool, new gas grill, palm trees, and these super cute new umbrellas and truly comfy lounge chairs. There are also beautiful potted plants. The owners take great care of the grounds period. I always notice hard working landscapers putting in beautiful flowers for each season. These are great little hidden gems, historic properties well made with good upgrades I think!! The modern lighting and real hardwoods are something I never found in Uptown living. I also have TWO BALCONIES, which is kinda cool to me. Only apply if you are eclectic and cool though - we are a close knit fun group! WHOLE FOODS is coming soon too-just a bike ride away!! We also just got a Paciugo Italian Ice Cream - everything is headed this direction...steps from Hot Spots on Henderson!
