Nearly 2 months after moving out I am still calling and emailing to settle open issues with there management. There is no communication between them - if one person tell you something no one else will have any idea. You will be charged odd fees and then when you ask them what that fee is they won't even know. The location has many homeless wandering nearby and the gates seldom work properly. Not a relaxing place to live. nice pool, to be fair.

The rent is reasonable, however in exchange you get poor service and excuses. Their "system" has billed us incorrect amounts and they can't update their records properly. In addition, our water bill and montly rent bill does not come to our mailbox. It goes to my roommates parents house. We have lived here for over a year and have called 6 or 7 times to have it changed and they cant seem to accomplish this small task. There was also an issue with our water bill. It mysteriously doubled over a period of three months and they stated that the meter must be broken, or we have a leak. Then they told us that they changed billing providers and it was a typo and that it would be credited back to our account. I called for three months and never saw the credit. Do not live here, pay the extra money in rent and save yourself from the burden of having to deal with AMLI management and staff. Keep in mind that this property is located a few blocks from Deep Ellum. There are homeless people everywhere and recently we had a car chase/shootout outside of our parking lot. Sixteen rounds of gunfire going off in your parking lot is very disturbing. We had a bullet land on our balcony and the back windshild of a car was shot out. In addition to the homeless community, there are also other scary individuals lurking around the grounds. Shirtless males chain smoking and pacing and hanging out in the apartment parking lots. I was advised my a police officer in the area to no longer live here and that I'm lucky that I've only had my car broken into. DO NOT LIVE HERE. Saving a few extra dollars a month is not worth living in fear.
