A celebration is waiting for me in March 2007, because that is when I can finally move out of the hellhole called AMLI at Bryan Place. As a long-term resident at this community, I think I'm completely qualified to write an in-depth review.

This place is terrible.

As a resident of one of the complex's 25 one bedroom apartments segregated back into the far corner of the property, I can say that everything in our area has been neglected beyond the point of disgusting. There are weeks at a time where every light is burned out in our parking lot, and multiple calls to the office will not fix this. Our carports are currently being repaired, closing down over half of our parking for the past week while the work sits unfinished.

Since moving in back in August 2003, my vehicles have been broken into five times and I was the lucky recipient of a home invasion. After I informed the attempted burglery the next day, management told me to give them my police report number and they'd put it in my file. Gee, thanks.

The maintenance people have been pretty good overall, but the management has been atrocious. They are rude, apathetic, and incompetent, including losing multiple of my rent checks and then claiming it was my fault before finding them months later. Speaking of which, the rent has become outrageously expensive, and oddly enough, varies from apartment to apartment, even if they are the exact same size and floor plan.

In Cliff Notes format, stay away from AMLI at Bryan Place. I am of the opinion that if I stay here for another six months, I would deserve to be punched in the groin on a daily basis until I wised up and moved out. This place is all glitter and no substance. It's pretty much the apartment equivalent of Cici's Pizza, and no matter what anybody says, no one likes that place either.

Sounds like to me that you weren't hugged enough as a child, and that Santa didnt leave your presnts, for you to be complaing so poorly. Dont leave stuff in your vehicle that makes it tempting to get into. Vehicles get broken into everywhere. The office staff at AMLI have been nothing but wonderful when I come in, and I praise them for their wonderful customer service.

I agree with boybryanplacesuxxx about lifeis2short being a manager or AMLI plant. I'm sorry that I feel that I should have felt safe in a gated and "security protected" community. Whatever idiot claims that it's the owner of the car's fault when it's broken into is a complete jagoff. I guess it also goes for when my apartment was broken into when I was there. Guess I should just live with nothing in my home, since owning anything is an invitation to steal it, right lifeis2short? My fault for wanting to, you know, own personal property.

Why is it that in every complaint, management seems to have some smartass remark -- much like a child would have? Again, I'm not renting after reading all of these reviews. Thanks for the heads-up, everyone.
