I am not sure why people are writing bad reviews about this place. I moved from another city and have enjoyed living at the Quarters. If you are looking for a place to live that is close to downtown, go and take a look for yourself. I think you will agree that the people who wrote the negative remarks were probably not good tenants. I am guessing they broke the community guidelines and were put on notice. This would explain why they would write such fiction. I would like to address a few of the issues in other people?s reviews and express my opinion.
1. Safety ? The Quarters is a gated community with access cards. You have the option to have the alarm system in the apartment monitored. When I moved in there was a package deal for alarm, cable, and high speed internet which was inexpensive.
2. Noise ? No matter where you live (in an apartment) you will hear some noise. After the only thing separating you from your neighbor is a wall. I can count the number of times I have heard a neighbor on one hand in the last 7 months. I am not sure where these frat stories are coming from.
3. Parking Garage - There is plenty of parking that is well lit. Nobody can provide 100% security. The garage is part of the gated community with access cards. If you exercise common sense and do leave valuable items in eye sight you will be fine. My car has never been broken into. As a matter of fact I don?t even have scratches on my car (cars parked too close).
4. Office Staff ? The sales staff has changed several times. Throughout all of this one thing has stayed the same. Tracey is the person who initially rented the apartment to me. Whenever I have had an issue with my apartment I bring it up with her. The problem is usually fixed within 24 hours. I have never had a major problem with the apartment.
