I lived at the Quaters at City Place for 7 months. Although rent was pricey the apartments are nice and large and you are downtown. Much better price then the apartments on the other side of 75. Beautiful pool and surounding areas.

One of the most significant problems in my opinion was security. It is really close to low income housing off of Washington Ave. It is almost impossible to walk anywhere near the complex without being hit up for money or feeling unsafe. There are always beggars at the nearby gas station, the taco bell, train station, etc... (More of an issue with the Dallas PD and the community)

My car was broken into here as well. First time my car has ever been broken into. I believe it happened in mid day with about 5-6 cars all burglarized the same day! My window was smashed to steal 40 cds and my loose change from my center console.... totally ghetto!

The gates were constantly broken from people hitting them. I complained to management when my car was broken into and they flat out told me it wasn't their responsibility. True, but a bad answer. When you have people paying $800 a month for rent would it really be hard for them to install a security system' Maybe a few exterior cameras' They eventually had a foot patrol but a camera system would have been nice.

Honestly the place had a kinda snobby feel. Probably one of the least friendly group of neighbors I have ever had... not rude, just not very interested in their neighbors or anything...

Overall a nice place to live and the management was nice.
