I lived in one of the townhouses from 2002 to 2003, in that 1 year of living there my car was stolen in the middle of the night from the parking spaces directly outside my back door (the small alleyway on the back side of the building). When I made my police report and told the staff in the front office, their response was along the lines of "yeah, we sometimes have gangs that wander through." they knew there was a security issue and never informed the residents. My car was luckily returned in a week, (Thank you DFWPD) and I was told not to park behind my apartment, but instead to park in the parking garage, because the gates were more secure. Within 2 days my car had been broken into again. This time they knew it was a gang initiation, because multiple cars had been broken into, and still did nothing to inform the residents of the security issues. If you want to live here, it's a great place, nice pool, great dog facilities, and totally updated and very posh, but do yourself a favor, pay a little extra for a unit with a garage attached. Don't trust the public parking, you're too close to the city.
