With 1 month left on my lease I went down to give my notice and was told it's a 60 day notice required, not a 30 day notice that the large majority of rental properties require. I'm sure they've caught a lot of people in this rip-off trap. This way they get an extra month of rent from you.
Also, the wood on the buildings is rotting and instead of replacing the rotting wood the maintenance crew just found a solid spot on the rotted wood and nailed it back up. This doesn't give the proper support. One area with rotting wood is where the top of the stairs attaches to the upstairs walkway and they just nailed the rotted wood back up. Every time it rains the entire sidewalk floods and nothing is done to fix it. The carpet put in is a light beige which easily stains. Everytime it rains the carpet stains just from the water soaked shoes you have after wading thru the water to get in. This insures that management will be keeping your deposit. Raw sewage backed up into the bathroom sink and the plumber had to cut the wall out to get to the main sewer line to fix it. The wall was replaced but that was over 3 months ago and it still hasn't been painted.
Overall opinion:
Management does not care about the tenants, only the money it can get out of you.
DO NOT MOVE IN HERE.
