God Help me!

I've lived here for about six months, and unfortunately have six more to go. I should of known from the beggining this was going to be a bad experience. Where to start... oh yes, move in day. Told we could pick up the keys at 9 am.WRONG!10:45 we get our keys, go to start moving in, and find out the painters have just showed up. Of course, you dont have much of an option when you have 8 people and two trucks, and a car full of stuff. So, we waited for a while, then started moving things into the middle of the rooms, to find out that the floors had not yet been cleaned. To sum it up, the lady that cleaned the floors was walking out at 2pm, and she looks at me and says, this carpet should of been replaced. So started the ongoing battle to get our carpet replaced. It took the unreachable manager over 3 weeks to come "walk" my apt. to tell me that they were not going to replace the carpet. They did agree to have them cleaned again. I was scheduled for a monday morning, the guy finally came Wed evening, just as I was getting home, in the pooring rain might I add. Needless to say, it did nothing, within hours all of the stains were back, and my entry way was black once again. Next, did yall get the "how important it is to report leaks immediately" speech when you signed your lease' I know I did! One night, about 11, Im getting ready to go to bed, and hear dripping from the kitchen, I go in to find that there is a pretty steady stream of water coming from two places in the ceiling over my sink. So I call the emergency maintanance and leave a message. An hour later I get a call and they wouldnt come out until 8 the next morning. What is the point of having someone on call if they're not going to do anything''' I had to baracade my kitchen floor with every towel I owned, find the biggest pots and buckets I had, and try to keep from anything ruining, until it was convienient for them to come out. The leak itself was fixed the next day, but it took about 6 visits to the office and a good month and a half before they returned to fix all the damage. Its always noisy, the office staff is horrible! DO NOT consider living here! I wouldnt wish this on my worst enemy. You cant get ahold of the manager here, and trying to reach higher managment is not any better. I have seriously called everyday for about 2 weeks, and left over 5 messages. No one has called me back. Hey office staff, rather than waisting your time telling people that the comments here are not true, maybe you should try to solve the issues and help make your residents happy. I mean after all, the beauty of living in an apartment and paying rent is so you dont have to deal with the maintanace problems. If you live here, Im sorry, if your looking, keep on walkin!
