We have had nothing but trouble at Amesbury. I cut my foot on the rusted metal of our stairs, and even though I had already turned it into maintenence, the manager STILL called me back and said they found nothing wrong with our stairs. It took 5 calls to the officeand 2 months to fix a pretty serious leak in our living room. You cannot get people to call you back from the office. We were so excited when we moved in...surprised at the great deal we were getting for the location. I guess you get what you pay for...except that our rent increased by 300 dollars if we choose to stay in the apartment.
Another problem is the layout. the kitchens have been "somewhat" updated, but the oven sticks out into the kitchen, blocking the only 4 drawers there are. We have to open the oven to open the drawers. We have also had a rat problem. we don't leave packaged food open, but do leave fruit in a bowl on the counters. I woke up one day to a half-eaten apple lying there. We knew that being an old apartment, there would be needed repairs, and would have been happy to deal with that if anything was taken care of in a timely manner. However, NOTHING gets taken care of at Amesbury Parc in a timely manner.
