I've been here for almost a year and it's fine. It's nothing special - it's an apartment. If you want something special buy a house. If you can't buy a house, go to the Post properties or an AMLI and when it's all said and done you'll pay more money for something you don't get a piece of - their equity. You might get a few nice ammenities that you'll rarely use and if you're lucky maybe a few strippers that live next to you. Before I was here I lived in an AMLI community which was ridiculous as they force you to use specific cable, phone and electric services which are overpriced and I'm sure they get a split of. Now AMLI was a nice place but I definitely felt like I got bent over for dollars every chance they had. All in all Amesbury Parc is decent and a good value. If seen a couple of bugs but this is TEXAS and I'm on the 1st floor - it doesn't matter if you're in a mansion, a business building or a shack you're gonna get some bugs because it's TEXAS! The only time I've never seen a bug while living in an apartment complex was in a 3rd story apartment but have fun moving into that one. AP has also got a nice pool and the staff is pleasant. Keep in mind - it's not a new property so if you're looking for uptown off of lovers - well, you went a few exits too far north.
