We won't be staying

While I haven't had a bug problem, the complex has become increasingly noisy and crowded during the two years I've lived here. The management allows multiple families to live in single family units, and there are always hordes of unsupervised children (this particular problem has rendered the swimming pool useless for adults despite the warning that children under 14 should have an adult with them). While I can usually find a parking space, there are always a lot of "guests" without parking passes, and our brand new car has already been dinged badly, several times. The last straw came a few weeks ago, when my husband witnessed a drunken neighbor drive headlong into the security gate, badly damaging the his own car and jamming the gate closed. Parties generally seem to take place outdoors on people's patios, making them more of a nusance to the whole complex.
The units themselves are poorly constructed, but they look good on first sight. Nice finishes, badly applied. Our electric bill is atrocious thanks to poor insulation and an ancient a/c unit.
I have never experienced or even heard of a break in in the complex, however, super sensitive car alarms tend to go off all night long. I have never seen a car actually broken into or vandalized.
