We have had the same experiences at this complex as the others have as well.

Office Staff is a nightmare. There is only one employee in the office that is worth talking to, at least as far as they will let her. You can find her there on weekends.

Complex manager is the only one that can make a decision, and she is rarely there. I was excited to learn earlier this year the complex was under new management company. There has been no improvement.

We have had to ask on four seperate occasions (when we signed the lease, twice when we came home and found a "we were here to spray today", and once the poor unfortunate soul knocked on the door Christmas Eve to spray) to have our apartment added to the no spray list. Our lease is almost up, and we are still not on the list. The one time we were home the exterminator had no idea he was supposed to check with the office which apartments were not to be sprayed.

Dog owners do not pick up after their dogs.

Do your best to get home before 7pm on any day, parking is horrible.

Management never follows up with residents. It has been a quite place for us, then again for 4-5 months only half of our building was occupied and they still have the nerve to raise your rent.

Work crews come and go whenever they want. Rarely do they notify you ahead of time, but you know when they have been there.

The story about the cable mishap on a previous review is true. They left a note saying the phone company would be there the next two days to upgrade the jacks, move all your furniture away from all cable jacks and lock up your pets. On the third day we called the office since no one had been there. Office said "we don't know what the deal is, call the phone company" and hung up. The phone company said "We'll be starting on the first building the next two days, your building isn't scheduled for 3 weeks."

They came out once to change the fire sprinkler heads in the apartments. They did not clean the piles of dry wall on the floor under all the sprinkler heads they yanked out.

We received calls from the front gate (when the box works, it got "struck by lightening" and we had to submit our phone number 4 times after that for the office to put our apartment in the box again) on three occasions in the middle of the night from someone claiming to be the Carrollton Police Department and to let them in the gate (the complex is in Dallas). Office management found nothing suspicious about this and blew it off all three times. They told us if it happened again and we felt inclined to, we could page the policeman that lived in the complex "for security". Of course they couldn't find his number that day, and at the time he worked nights.

Every complaint we made we asked them to put a written note of it in our file. They never have.

Overall it has been a bad experience. I would not refer anybody to live here. I have lived in that area for many years, at many different complexes, and there are better ones with better service for less money in the area. Keep looking.
